FRS use Microsoft Small Business Server to grow their business. April '07
During our time as I.T. management consultants for FRS we have seen their business grow and change. New staff members have come on board and a very positive and exciting development has taken place – that of franchising the FRS business model to other business owners.In order to ensure that FRS can provide not only the best and most stable environment to their franchisees, we recommended upgrading to a Small Business Server 2003 based network. The immediate benefits are better stability across the whole network, improved speed and robust security. Email will be stored centrally and can be access anywhere in the world through Outlook Web mail. Remote access, is provided through VPN connections to independent data areas on the server, for each franchisee. This keeps their data separate and secure – but still stored in a central location.
FRS now offer their partners a reliable server connection and access to their data and RDB, industry strength backup with off site tape storage, server/client anti-virus tools and I.T. support through their existing contract with Laugh Out Loud.
