When DGL Services based in Soham, expanded their operation with new staff to cope with an increased demand for their Health and Safety courses and services, they contacted Laugh Out Loud to help them realise a more efficient, reliable and secure I.T. infrastructure to support the business growth.After consultation to understand the requirements of DGL Services, Laugh Out Loud suggested a network powered by Microsoft Small Business Server 2003, and protected by Sophos Small Business Security suite. Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 offers almost all the functionality of larger clustered server networks, in a single optimised package designed for small businesses. The full versions of Microsoft's email server and firewall software are included, and features like remote web workplace make remote working for staff and secure and productive reality. Sophos provides world class centrally managed anti-virus protection to keep the network safe.
Laugh Out Loud is also entrusted with supporting DGL Services I.T. infrastructure and providing I.T. management services on an ongoing basis.
