Scampers improves I.T. security and stability with LOL. April '07
Laugh out Loud have recently performed a thorough review of the mixed I.T. systems at Scampers and carried out a project to update them, improving security and stability.Our goal was to make the information systems operate as efficiently as the store does. The addition of a VPN (Virtual Private Network) capable wireless firewall router allows them to access their network and EPOS machine securely and easily, whether local to the store or remotely. We also installed a system wide antivirus package that is proven to protect even the largest and most complex networks.
Scampers have also moved to a DAT tape backup system for reliable, hassle free backups which now includes the EPOS system.
